milton riaño
Colombian New media artist and Spatial analyst based in Montreal.
His work blends art and technology to transcend traditional narratives, redefining our relationship with time and space through immersive multimedia experiences. Incorporating laser light, sound, real-time animation, sensors, and biomaterials, Riaño explores the complexities of the Anthropocene.
Riaño has led the exploration and technological development of multimedia, immersive, and interactive workshops, exhibitions, and performances with multidisciplinary teams of artists, scientists, educators, museums, and cultural institutions in Canada and internationally.
Riaño has exhibited his work in Canada and abroad and holds a specialization in Fine Arts + Creative Technologies from the University of Montreal and in Spatial Analysis from the National University of Colombia.
